255 ultra 4-Way

Complete More Deliveries & Handle Tight Jobsites With Ease.

The Loadmac 255 Ultra 4-Way helps your fleet unload with confidence, preserve more legal payload, and move through tight jobsites with greater control and flexibility.

When space is limited, access is tight, and materials are difficult to position, the 255 4-Way gives your drivers the maneuverability, reach, and control to finish the drop and move on.

Stop Letting Tight Jobsites Slow Down Deliveries

Alternative setups don’t just waste time. They make tight deliveries harder, limit where you can unload, and force your drivers to work around the jobsite instead of through it.

Move Freely. Unload Faster. And Stay On The GO

The 255 4-Way is built for compact maneuverability—helping your fleet move through tight spaces, unload faster, and complete every drop with confidence.

Configuration & fit

Multidirectional for crowded sites.

The 4-Way variant adds full multidirectional steering on top of the 255 platform — same compact footprint, same 5,500 lb capacity, plus the ability to crab and rotate inside tight delivery zones and around long materials without repositioning the truck.

Best fit for: urban building supply, masonry, and pipe distribution fleets running deliveries to alley access, narrow driveways, or crowded commercial sites.

Typical fleet profiles

  • Urban building supply
  • Masonry / hardscape
  • Pipe & HVAC distribution
  • Specialty materials
  • Restricted-access routes

Common questions

FAQ.

What's the practical difference between 2-Way and 4-Way?

2-Way steering uses traditional front-and-rear maneuvering. 4-Way adds full sideways (crab) travel — useful when long materials need to slide into narrow openings without repositioning the truck.

No. Both 255 variants rate at 5,500 lbs. The 4-Way is slightly heavier unladen (4,710–5,095 lbs vs 4,495–4,880 lbs) due to the added steering hardware, but rated capacity matches.

Same as the 2-Way. U.S. support, hands-on training, parts in stock at the Spencerville, IN, facility.

The 255 4-Way is a lighter, simpler alternative to the M4 with man-on-ground mounting standard. We’re happy to walk through a side-by-side.
